installing an external wastegate

hi i'm installing my new turbo (t3 60 trim) and i don't know how to install the external wastegate i've looked around and can't find anything, please help if you can.

Not sure what you are looking. A question like this really needs more than one line! Assuming you are using a manifold that has provisions for an external, just bolt that bastard on there. The flanges are the same, put the one with the valve face toward the manifold, the other is the dump tube. The boost line will go to the "side" port as oppposed to the top port, execpt in some fancy EBC setups. There are pics on my site showing the orientation of the wastegate on a SFP manifold.

If your manifold doesnt have provisions for the gate, you need to get one that does, or have a flange welded to the manifold you are using. SBR does this for a reasonable price.

Be sure to use a good gasket, the turblownetics "fire ring" soft silver gasket (RRE and others sell it) has always worked well for me and is way better than Tials paper POS gasket that burns out in a week.

Hopefully something in there helps. If not, just get a little more specific with the question and we'll take another shot at it.
