99 burb - auto interier dimmer light

First time post....

interior lights come on when door is open to get out of car, but they do not go off after 30 second delay. If I press the override switch, they do not come on at all (normal). So, does not sound like a switch. Is there some type of relay attached - or is there a way to disable the "dimmer" and just have light come on/off when door is open?

Thank you

Im not positive on the '99's but i've seen the relay light attached to the buzzer when the door is open. It should go from the door panel, up under the dash and behind the fuse box. Like i said, im not positive buts its worth a look.
