Where is the Neutral Safety Switch?

where is the NSS? and how do i take it off or check or replace it on a 1992 cherokee lerado with 4x4 and a 4.0liter thanks

on my 88 it's on the passinger side of the trans .has 3 or 4 wires going to it . if you need alook go to jeepin,com they have a how to article on how to fix it maybe this will help. good luck.
