Keeps dying, but only when in gear???

I need help. I changed my plugs and wires about a month ago. (yes I used factory parts). And yes I have them in correct order. I had to take off the coil pak. But the problem is now when I am stopped at a light and the car has been running for awhile it dies. If I have the car in park or neutral it won't die. So I end up putting the car in neutral at every light so she won't die. I am thinking that I must have damaged something when when I changed the plugs and wires. But have no clue. Could I have the wires touching something they shouldn't be? I do think the wires are laying the same as before I changed them but?? If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I hate taking my car to the dealership and getting raped $$$$$!!!

My car has the exact same symptoms. Ive read in other threads the is could be the crankcase sensor but i dont know if it works or not. If anybody can confirm this i will greatly appriciate it.

Re: Keeps dying, but only when in gear???

There was no problem before the change? If the problem happened right after changing plugs I would go there.

Are they gapped correctly? .050" I beleive is correct. Maybe one dropped into the hole and closed the gap. It is possible that you got a bad plug.

You are possitive that the wires are on right?

Is the service engine light comming on? If so you will want to get the codes read. You can post those results here for more advice.

My advice is to absolutely eliminate the new parts/procedure before moving to something else.

I also just noticed that when driving my voltage reads 15.2 and when in neutral or park 14.4 when in drive but at a stop light 12.9. i wonder if that could be the problem? is that normal?
