Ford Probe Gt/Mazda MX6 (V6) vs Chevy Cavilier Z24/Pontiac Sunfire GT (V6)
OK, girls looking for a new car. Only has about 3,500. Help us choose between these cars here. Also. any recommendations would be nice. (Keep in mind we live in cali. And cars are expensive here)

no sunfire ever came with a V6, there was a Sunbird V6, but they stopped making that in 1994, that was also the last V6 Cavalier.
please define what J-body you're talking about and then whe'll be able to compare.

Oops sorry, well it will be a 1996 and up J body. Probe/MX6 will be a 1993 and up. Sorry about living that info out, I was in a rush. (kinda feel like a noob)

I personaly like MX6's outta those cars...I don't really like any of them, But i like the MX6 out of those...(Hell for 3500 why don't she get a mk3 supra!?) Whatever, I never really liked cav's....

Hey, I never thought about MkIII's. Well, we were just looking at them and she says they're too ugly and too old. She liked the speed factor but not enough to change her mind. plus she's looking for reliablility too. Please someone help......

my buddy had a 96' 5-speed z24 before he got his trans-am...it was definitely a very quick car for the price tag. he had CAI and he was down in the low 15's easy. but out of those i would say the mx6/probe looks the best.

the Z24 is a little quicker and is a little more nimble, it is also cheap feeling and loud. the probe and MX6 feel more substantial and i guess "swift".

NO Z24 was ever faster then a 93+ Probe GT. I had a 95 and I lost to a 94 mustang (barely) but took him in the turns....sooo...just in case you were insinuating that. But I couldnt tell if you were comparing the z-24 to the sunfire, so I just said it. And from a couple places I heard the probe is faster but the mx-6 handles better out of the two, but I never drove a mx-6, couldnt tell ya
