1955 Porsche Speedster

Here's the progress of my latest drawing. The second scanned drawing is sharpened because the scan came out a little light, but my actual drawing looks like that. I'm about to get back to working on it. These pics were scanned a couple of days ago, but since then, I've finished the interior. I plan to post the updated version up tonight. I'm also going to add an engine bay drawing if I can find a good pic, since my full picture has a lot of room left. As always, tell me what you think. I'm trying to get better.

Re: 1955 Porsche Speedster

i love how the paper looks kind of dirty...it really adds extra feel to the drawing.
Everything looks great except the right front light, it looks just a little bit to small, compare it to the left one and you see what i mean.

anyway great work!

Yeah, I have a hard time keeping the paper clean when I draw. I see what you're talking about with the headlight. I'l try to fix that. Thanks

Re: 1955 Porsche Speedster

Looking good. Next time, to avoid smearing graphite all over the place, start from the top left and finish at the bottom right. (start at top right and finish at bottom left of page if left handed)

btw the back wheel is looking a little big.

....or hold your hand on a paper when drawing, that also works!

Re: 1955 Porsche Speedster

The front is twisted down and more level tho. If you look at the picture, you'll see that the front is slanting up, w/ the rest of the car. In the drawing, it looks as though you wanted to keep the front end, and in turn, the rest of the car, level. It really screws up the pespective. I'm sorry to say, but you might have to re-do the front if you want the car to look right in the final product....

Re: 1955 Porsche Speedster

Yeah, apon closer inspection, you're right. The whole body has been sloped down more, to make it look right. Ok, Shade away!
