Talking I need help lol. N00b btw

Hi everyone. I just got this fun little Impreza that cost (dont laugh) £30. It was £50 but anyway, Tomorrow im going into a rc store and im hoping to get a couple of things. 1)A couple of lights and 2)Decent tyres, the ones i got are naff imo 3)A more powerful motor. But as i dont know anything about rc cars here is where i need help. The make is a 'Pro sport' thingy (i've never heard of them). Its a 1:10, RWD, another thing is how do i measure the car except the 1:10 scale. I read about the 190mm 200mm sizes so i guess its the width as mine is around 190mm. So basically could you give me some advice on buying a new more powerfull motor. Im not a racer but i just want some rc fun. Its a 9.6v 600mAh. Also! can i just buy a longer lasting battery and fit it with no problems i.e.type of battery?!

A lot of questions i know but i'd appreciate any advice,
Mikey
btw:I have a very limited budget for a motor = £30 lol! Remember i just want some fun not racing type...got any drifting advice too?

There is an edit feature to edit your post instead of posting 3 different times.

As far as upgrades, if it isnt a "real" RC just a store bought one, none of the modifications at the hobby shop will work. Pro Sport sound familiar, but I can think of who makes it. So, you may be out of luck as far as modifications.

yeah sorry bout that. Although it is a cheapy one, it does have the 'flimsy' light weight shell that i've seen in mod shops, and it has the screws ontop which i read somewhere 'is a sign that it can be modded'? would a picture help or is it definately not able to be modded
