need info please help

trying to find out what Fords warranty policy on body preferation is
what is covered and how long
I have a 99 F-150 and the drivers side door skin is cracked right above the window near the door handle

As I rewcall 8 years 100,000 miles due to "perforation".

I just posted the same thing not two seconds ago. I have a 00 F150 and I am having the same problem and the last time I called ford they pretty much told me it was my problem and that they did not give a damb. I know about 6 people that are having the same problem.

interesting isnt it to know that the vody panels are shredding for no obvious reason

well here is a bit of info I called Ford and was told that corrosion and preferation is the same thing and that if in fact the door skin is tearing it should be repaired they told me to contact the dealer let them know what I was told and see what happens from there, if nothing I should then call them back waht happens then who knows but its irratating for me to have to go through this.
I also asked about the paint on the roof and hood on the same vehicle it is cracking all over
by no means does this have anything to do with not maintaining the vehicle it is a paint concern but I may be out on this one
oh by the way paint warranty is 3 years 36,000
miles for fading and flaking but corrosion is 5 years unlimited milage

I had an 89 mustang gt that had oil underneath the paint and it flaked Ford repainted all areas that were affected but my wife also got in their face about it.
