temp gage
i just got a 1995 bonnie it runs great so far, i bought it from a mechinic who had just repaired the head gasket and head, my question is when it idles the temp hand will move from about 190 degrees to 200 degrees, when i begin to drive it will cool down to 190. should i be concerned? the fans are working also. it has never run hot

ON the road the windstream provides enough cooling and the thermostat controls the coolant flow and maintains a nearly constant temperature. When idling, the temperature goes up and then the electric fans (controlled by the computer) start, cool down, and stop...and again, thus the swing between 190 and 200.
