problem with my headers need help

im putting in headers and there in and there hitting the frame under the car umm like where the fuel lines run on drivers side and vice versa there scraping all along and what should i do...anyone encounter this problem b4 im short on time and def. do not want to put manifolds back on. the car is a original 2.8 car and im doing swap now. thanks -joe

did u choose the headers for your car, ive been looking for headers too and even if they say they r for my car i reed the foot notes and it says the require some modifications to fit

You can re-route your fuel lines. If it's shorty style headers and it's hitting the engines cross member support , then you need rear exit style headers...they are all over ebay for cheap.

after like 7 hours alota swears and a 4 foot crowbar we got them in. there scraping the sides of the frames and there not hitting fuel just the brake line which shouldnt be a big deal but it is TIGHT a hammer will get the collector flanges to the end of the collectors, it made everything that needs to be done look like cake by comparison but they look hot thanks anyways

By the way , if your brake fluid gets too hot , it won't work.

your motor mounts are old and most likely shot...thats is why...
