GTP engine cutting out

i just bought a 98 GTP from a cousin of mine, and while driving it mainaly at speeds between 15-45 it just dies and i have to wait a wile before it cranks back up, he said it has done this ever since he had it and the dealer's can't find out whats wrong with it, first i thought it could of been a relay switch or sumthing wrong with the fuel system, but lately i've came to think it could be a sensor. someone help me. But i love this car tho already, lol it runs like hell it gets my 5.2 dodge ram by like 1 1/2 car links until about 70 it just runs away from my old dodge.
thanks for the help

Sounds like the crank position sensor is failing. Check this link: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbu...2&highlight=cps
