Question Testors mini compressor?

Well, i just got the testors mini compressor or "blue ice" as they like to call it and it seems tottaly insufficient for airbrushing...i was using air cans before this and they seemed to have much more PSI than this thing.

if somone else has it, could you tell me if it actually works (well)?

here it is... http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes50204.htm

i may just end up taking it back

EDIT: on the box it says 35 PSI, but sure doesnt feel like it.

Re: Testors mini compressor?

never worked with it, but 35 psi (maximum) should be enough

I usually work between 5psi to 17psi on my 100psi compressor

Btw does this compressor have an air tank ? if not, it might be really hard to maintain stable pressure.

Go to Wal-Mart and get a 1hp 2gal Campbell Hausfeld compressor for $65, spend another $10 for a moisture trap and call it good. You can also use it to air your car tires, etc. Try that with your hobby compressor. Marc

Re: Testors mini compressor?

Agreed, Testors compresor is crapola. You should spend a little more money and get something like this... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=90168
