by stock i assume you mean totally stock. well for starters try an header and exhaust. I would also install an VAFC or something along the lines of that, i dont know wheather you are running a centrifucal or roots type blower, fuel is gonna be needed as im sure you havent done anything there yet.

Re: Need help with my 1995 gsr please help

change the thermostat and the radiator cap and that should fix, in all probabilty the thermostat is stuck open but try that and if that doesn't fix the problem you may have to look into something dealing with the heater core

Go to robearracing.com and buy the Integra Type-R Header ($199.00)
Go to kteller.com and buy a 2.5" high flow cat, and 2.5" stainless cat back piping and a magnaflow muffler.. If you want it to not be too loud get a resonator too.

This setup shouldn't cost you more than 700 installed and you'll definately be happy with it.

It's almost identical to mine except I'm running a custom 2.5" to 3" cat and 3" Piping.

Re: Need help with my 1995 gsr please help

Since you havnt mentioned what SC you have yet, lemme give you the basics.

First, if you are still on the stock piping, then, replacing that will give you many improvements. colder plugs gapped between .032 - .038 will help. A boost gauge at least will do, so, you can tell us where your boosting at (also so you will know yourself).

Hey Bbotoxygen,

What SC are you on? Hows the duty cycle on the 440s holding up on 14.5 psi?

Running a Jackson Racing. The 440s are holding up great! I have a pretty good tune with hondata. The only thing that I'm going to get is valvesprings, retainers and an MSD SCI.

I'm making power all the way to redline so if I move up my redline a little I should make some more power.

Have you measured your intake temps yet? I remember when I was@12psi, the temps were really hot on the dyno. I prefer to be on 9-10 psi.

With that being said, and you being at 14psi, i believe a cooling system and hondata gasket would be beneficial to your setup.

If you ever get intake temps, you should post it up before and after cooling.

I have a hondata gasket and no cooling. I haven't gotten my temps taken though.

What do you run 9 psi with? Right now i'm using the MVM stepper pulley and a CRV crank pulley.

What didnt you like about it? Were you making less power or was it just the temps you didnt like? Are you running stock internals?
