1999 3.1L rear Head Gasket Leak

I have a '99 Monte LS. This vehicle has a little over 65k and has been babied since it was brought home brand new in late '98. Recently the rear head gasket as started leaking like a damn siv. I've heard this may be a recall due to the DexCool eating the gasket. Can anyone help or provide more info. . If I have to pay this one out of pocket, it's going to be expensive.
