1998 Legacy startijng problem

Good Afternoon,

I have a 1998 Legacy wagon (AWD). I came home last night and my car was fine. This afternoon I went out to start it and it will not turn-over at all. The battery is not the problem.

When I turn the key there is one pretty loud click and that is it. Nothing. I imagine it is a starter problem? Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you.

It probably is the starter but one thing(cheap) to check is /are, battery cables.

Either the starter, or the starter solenoid.
