I recently got my 99 Jetta GL back from a mechanic and am having TONS of problems. The first is that every time I turn my car on and off again the clock and trip keep resetting. The battery is brand new so I know it is not that. I'm not sure if that problem is also tied into my doors not wanting to lock and my trunk release button is now not working. What is going on here???? Can anyone help???
Oh and I'm using my brothers account....the Integra lover!

Re: trip and clock keeps resetting???
I realize you posted this a few years ago, however I'm hoping
you/your sister may remember which fuse(s) needed to be replaced to address the clock & trip meter resetting in the Jetta. I'm having the same problem. I've checked a number of fuses, in consultation with the fuse diagram (after obtaining a "translation" of it from the internet), but can't figure out which fuse feeds this function. ANY ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! |
