turn siginal and hazzards not working

I have a 1994 Ford Taurus and the hazzards and turn siginals stopped working.They have been working off and on for a while now and if you played with the hazzard button they would work,but know they stopped working all together.Can anyone tell me what the cause of this is? My 17 year old son is using the car and I would really like to fix the problem.

Search this forum for Multifunction Switch. It controls several functions, it is mounted on the steering column. Lots of luck.
