Talking Racing seats installed...Pics

Well, guys, got my racing seats installed. They gave me alot of room, and really gave it a race look inside. They sit about an inch lower, giving it a more sports car feel. They weighed in at roughly 20lbs a piece, well under the stock seat weight. It's really cold here right now, so I opted not to paint the brackets we made yet. I'm going to wait for a warmer day so the paint will stick. Anyway, here's the pics... I'll get some more when my racing harnesses get here. I'm trying to drive it as little as possible until they arrive. We've still got to weld a bar behind them to mount the harnesses, but here's where we are so far....

This picture show how much room is left in the truck. The seats are in the middle position here, with plenty of room to slide forward and reverse. My plastic kickplate is off because it is primed and setting in my shed ready for paint. It fits perfectly over our new brackets.
