Re: Nissan S15 Silvia 180SX front end conversion \\COMPLETE//

Your model looks very good, and you're obviously quite skilled to do such a conversion. The combination of parts is very clever and the colors suit it perfectly. It looks marvelous. There are a couple constructive comments I would like to make about it, though. The first thing that popped out at me were the badges on the car that are not painted silver. This is a pretty daunting task, and it takes some practice and some patience - just take a brush with silver paint on it and wipe the paint on a paper towel until it is almost all gone, then very lightly use that brush to leave silver paint on the Silvia and Nissan badges. Take your time and let the silver accumulate over several passes and it will look good, don't force the paint or it will look bad. The second thing is the spoiler - you can still see the mold lines and the the bit left over from when you cut it off the sprue. A quick pass of the spoiler end plates over a file or some sandpaper would have solved this, and your car would stand out above the crowd and be a real show stopper. It's great work as it is, don't get me wrong, but armed with a couple more skills in your modeling tool box and you'll be making freakin' amazing models. I love what you've done and am looking forward to seeing what you can put out next.
