Tiburon Question

I'd like to know what the Tiburon runs in the quarter and 0-60. I have searched online and I haven't found much. Anyways, a kid at my school has a Tuiburon and he thinks his car is faster than mine. He has a '00 with the I-4 and an automatic which from what I read is 140 hp. I have a '92 prelude with an H23(160 hp) and a stick shift. I would not be asking if it wasn't for the weight issue because my car weighs 300 more than his. My car runs 0-60 in 7.8 and runs the quarter in 15.9. Obviously I won't pull numbers like that. Basically what I want to know is, what are the numbers on 00 Tiburon's and could I win this?

Thanks for any information,
Nick

Tib?uestion

it all actually dpends on how you drive, my freind has a 95 prelude.

and we are about even i can take him and he can take me..............

but we both have 5-speeds....the tiburon you just mentioned is

an automatic and I am not familiar with, auto tibs. I think you actually

have an advantage in a rolling start in my opinion. Also it depends

on what modifications each car has too.

Re: Tiburon Question

Both cars are completely stock. Any I drive stick well, not awesome, as I have only been driving a car for 9 months. But I rarely misshift and I know how to drive.

And does your friend with the lude have the S, Si or V-tec??? because they have major differences. S has 135 hp, Si(mine) has 160 hp and V-tec has 190 hp.
