2000 Blazer won't start...
Ok, here's what's going on...
First off, I did something dumb on the 23rd (Thurs.). I left the dome light on somehow, got a jump after work was done, it popped right off, and after that it has started fine since then. Went out to start it up this morning and I get the old clickclickclickclickclick from the ignition. Got a jump, popped off just fine right away no probs, voltmeter on the dash says 14 Volts, engine running good, everything seems ok right? Wrong. Shut off the engine, try to start it up again and clickclickclickclickclick from the ignition. Jumped it again, started right away, I decided to go on home since it was running. Took me about 10-15 mins to get home. I shut it off, take some stuff out of the back, etc, decide to try to start it again and clickclickclickclickclick again. I've tried cleaning and tightening the cables to no avail, green eye on the battery, what the heck is wrong with this thing? |

Sounds like the battery needs a charge or replacement. Check the battery voltage, if low charge it and see if it holds the charge.
Good luck, Mike |

Definitely the battery. It has enough life left in it to take a charge, but it is not charging sufficiently enough to give enough juice to start the truck.

yep battery the way I have always chraged mine sicne I don't have a charger is I will have someone jump start me than I turn off all lights radios amps etc. in my vehicle and let it run for about 30 mins. Usuually that solves a lot if you can't get to a charger.
