fuses?
does any body have a way to adding a fuse to the fuse block. i have a 95 jimmy with a fuse box on the drivers side. what i wanted to know is that i know theres some fuse spots that aren't being used but only one side of the terminal is there. can you get the other from the dealer or has somebody made a homemade one for it?

Re: fuses?
What you see is the terminal for power into the fuse box. The other terminal isn't there because the rest of the circuit isn't there. The easiest way is to use an inline fuse tapped in that terminal. Just be sure the circuit can handle the extra draw. You could remove the fuse box and install a new terminal in the other side of the fuse holder. The dealer should have the terminal but he will have to match it with an existing one from the fuse box. It would be a lot of work, but would look nicer.

Re: fuses?
You should use a relay for your fog lights or you could burn out the contacts in the switch. The relay I got from Auto Zone had a mounting tab with a hole in it. I just loosened a bolt inside the fender by the battery and attached the relay. I used a waterproof fuse holder for a blade type fuse from Radio Shack.(10 amp) Then I used a zip tie around the relay to mount the fuse. Power to the relay fuse comes directly from the battery. Power to the switch should come from a fused circuit that is only energized when the ignition switch is in the accessory or the on position to keep the lights from draining the battery should the switch be left on without the key in. Check this with a volt meter or test light. I tapped into the parking light circuit after the fuse.
