What engine temp should I be running?
Merry Christmas all.
Can anyone tell me what temp my 93 Suburban should run at. My gauge shows about 105 F on highway or in town. |

temp
I have tried several times to fix the temp needle. Mine reads pretty low. Apparantly the numbers on the meter face don't mean anything. if you run diagnostics from a pc, you will see if the computer is getting the actual proper temp of the engine. I have replaced sensors ans called Chevrolet corp and their answer is that the needle is not calibrated. Hope this helps. Then again, if your engine is really at 105, you have other issues.
