Very Strange!!! PLEASE HELP

We got a bunch of snow yesterday, so this morning I had to "rock" my 1999 Silverado 5.3L a little bit to get it out of my drive way. I actually didn't rock it, just moved forward until I stopped, backed up to get more traction on the compacted snow, and moved forward until I stopped, etc. etc. until I made it to the road. I DID NOT shift from drive to reverse to really "rock it".
However, right before I got to the road, my truck started beeping. There are no lights on the dash, but anytime the truck is moving, it's beeping every second....fairly loudly. Once the truck comes to a stop, the beeping stops.

The engine runs like normal. The transmission shifts like it always does. The brakes are good too.

Does anyone have a clue what is going on?? Please help because I'm supposed to drive 2,000 miles in a couple of day for the holidays.

Steve

Well, it will beep like that when you forget to release the parking brake...perhaps the "rocking" or snow accumulation may have done something to the parking brake sensor.
