merry christmas to me!
Tonight, on the airport rd heading home, i was stopped at a red light. beside me (it's a three lane rd) pulled up a 05 jet black mustang gt. I personally like these cars alot... and was like "hey awesome stang!" he goes, yea, christmas present" beside him on the far left lane pulls up a 04 chevy corvette. i'm assuming they both got them recently cause neither had tags. i hear the vette revving, and the stang does too. I know i have no chance in my stock J30 so i rev a little too and get a laugh out of them. Anyway, the light goes green... i spin a bit too much, and find myself watching from behind as the vette passes up the stang by 3 cars. It was awesome though because it's the first time i've seen an 05 in action. I love stangs (gt's) and vettes.. and to see them both go head to head, was very very cool.

haha good job / but those guys should wait untill they break in their cars, i guess that what happens when you are given a car and you dont earn it, you realy dont care about it

Yea you can tell the real enthusiasts from the "hey ill get that cool car" kinda person. I did tell you all about the c6 driver who wouldnt race until the engine was broken in....and he honestly told me that. Gained 10x respect then if he just raced me and raped me.

Yeah...if I got a C6 for a present I would probably drive the living daylights out of it, too.

Nice race. Too bad you didn't really stand a chance. If I had a new car, which I probably never will because used is much cheaper, I would probably want to break it in first. The first 3000 miles, absolutely no racing.

I got my 2000 maxima new when I was 15...yes, spoiled brat, but that's besides the point...my dad put about 700 miles on it before I was even old enough to drive it by myself...I asked him if he liked it and he was all "oh yeah, I had some fun with it *wink*"...I wonder if he did any permanent damage lol.
