A 1993 Buick Century

I had a ? for who ever could help !!! I had put 10.00 in gas into the car one day the next day my mother took it out and the cat stalled at a 4 way stop it just made it to my sisters home .....then when it was time to leave she started the car up it ran for a few mins then stalled out again .... then she tryed to start it again and it ran again then once she put it in grear and out it in revers to take off it stalled out and not it will not start ... I replace the fuel filter and still no go and it will not start up .... Does anyone know what it might be or can help me .... thanks so much ...

Yes. I had similar [prob with 88 Cent wagon way back when. Have someone check the mass air flow sensor and most of all, check the idle air control valve (IAC). I went through a lot with mine, but a new IAC finally solved prob.

Check your TCC solenoid. You are describing a classic TCC failure.

hey i just wanted to say thanks for the info and we did check that and it was all good so i was like ok now what .... so i got mad and took it to the dealer and the computer was fine and then that was a load of my mind ...then i go the car back and then let my shop look at it and said on the buicks for that year i guess have a bad thing with the fuel pump filter in the tank that little net like thing getting clogged up in the pump ..... So thanks for responding it helped and took a load of my mind thanks again yours truly , mattlovesall
