I just purchased a 2000 Chrysler Concorde and I plan on installing the sound system I had in my last vechile. I went to go look about removing the factory receiver and I am completly clueless as to how I do this. I am assuiming it will include having to remove some of the dash but I have no idea how to go about doing any of this. I am considering possibly using the factory head unit for my system because it is a very nice one but no matter what I will need to get to the wires so I can wire my amplifier to it.
Thank you! -Billy Hope Everyone has a Safe and Happy Holidays! |

Re: Removing Stock Receiver
The black piece that incorporates the A/C controls has to come out. Just get a screwdriver and pop out the clips that hold it in place. Then take out the 4 screws that hold the head unit and disconnect the two connectors at the back of the unitl.
