318 stalling problems-HELP!

The problem is intermittent stalling. It's fine for days. It stalls while idiling and sometimes while driving. Starts after a few minutes. Seems worse in rain. Extra throttle seems to help. Thank you for any advice!

if it runs normal otherwise, I would think it would be the hall effect pickup coil in the distributor, had the same thing happen to me, it was very hard to pin down because it didn't through any codes until it finally stopped working.

Re: 318 stalling problems-HELP!

replaced the hall effect pickup coil, but the problem still occurs. Last night, it died while my foot was on the gas pedal. I let off the gas and pushed the pedal again and nothing happened-then I did it again and it jerked and started up again. Any more ideas would be appreciated!! Thank you again!
