2000 WStar SEL outdoor temp sensor

I have a 2000 Windstar SEL and want to check the accuracy of the outdoor temperature sensor (the one that provides the readout on the dash). Can anyone here tell me where the sensor is and it's specifications, ie, resistance at a specified temperature?

I can only tell you where it is on my '99. In front of radiator, down low, center/RH. A small pointy plastic thing.
