Web Page

Hey All,
Take a look tell me what you think. I'm revamping my site, doing the frame thing and cleanng it up a bit. I finally got some good pics of the G20 when it's clean and here it is...

not bad. you might want to check your image settings - the pics are stretched. if you define in the code what size to keep them (whatever size they are unaltered) they will show up looking more normal.

Does it really look that bad? I edited the pics in a photo editor then I grabbed and streached them. I went in and set the size through html, let me mess with it a bit. I have Dreamweaver now, I need to switch from Frontpage. Im learning but of course it will take some time.

no positive comments, man you guys are hard asses...j/k

good. go to dreamweaver. forget frontpage. don't think we mean it's not good when we say "not bad." it is a good start. you should put up more pics of your mods and the car from different angles. maybe include a page on what you plan on doing to the car. history? driving stories? don't hold yourself back!

Nice...simple...but you do need to resize your images for those that have 15" monitors (lucky I have a 19")....If you cant figure Dreamweaver out, try Net Objects Fusion, its more intuitive, handles frames well, and Im sure theres a hacked version out there...thats how I got my first copy...

Don't wish to sound like a cocky brit, but try notepad instead of dreamweaver etc. You don't seem to be doing anything too tough and knocking together something the old-fashoined way might help you understand the way the pages are put together a bit better and give you some more flexibility.

got an ancient hompage I did that you can rip off as much code as you like from. All done the hard way.

Ignore the content. (I was younger then) but its at http://users.breathemail.net/rjhoy
Like I said, rip off whatever you want, but look at it to see how it works before you use it.

good luck with the site

Ya I didn't think of people with the 15" monitors. I to have a 19" and view 1024x768. Dreamweaver is coming along nice. I got a really good deal through my university for the Macromedia Web studio, which has Flash 5, Fireworks 4, Freehand 10 and Homesite 5. This is what Im going to school for, to study Web Design. I'll resize and repost again when I do.

I’m familiar with notepad that’s how I started out, when I was starting to learn web design in school. FrontPage was the beginning and Dreamweaver is the future for me.

Writing code manually, why? This is how you learn from the beginning but quantity and quality of web design software is very simplified and not as time consuming as copying and pasting code. I just wanted to see what the opinion and other views then mine from other G20 owners’ perspective viewed from their screens. No offence taken. This will be my future after life in the military in 9 months. Learning as I go along

You know living in the D.C. area. In my area of work, I even have my personal vehicle hardened as well as streched. More leg room for us tall guys and more room for the boss to sit in the rear.

No offence intended. Guess I'm just one of those people that likes to know how things are done rather than be kept at arms length by a gadget that does 'em for me.

I don't need to know how bodykits are made, but I'm still going on the course for example.

Anyway, like I said, good luck with the site.
