domelight overide button dings

I noticed today I was playing with some buttons and when I press the domelight overide button in and out three times it makes a Ding noise. Does anyone know what setting this makes? I looked in the manual but cant find anything.

Pressing the dome override button 3 consecutive times overrides the automatic driving lights and allows you to turn them on and off manually.

I have a 01 and it does the same thing but I think I hit mine 4 times and it just stops the headlights from automaically coming on, and you have to use the manual switch to turn them off and on. I have to use it every night when I go through military posts.

If you press it four more times quickly after going through the gate they will come back on then you don't have to use the manual switch. I didn't know this until I went through the gate one morning and the SP told me to turn off my lights. I told him I can't because they are automatic and he schooled me real quick.
