Had the experience of rear wheels spinning on ice and front wheels not moving at all. What's up? I thought the all wheel drive was engaged full time. Dealer said traction control must be disengaged. But, where is the traction control, no button exists. Could they mean the trailer/haul mode?

you have 2 problems.
1) the dealer is a moron. 2) the AWD is not "full" time. it's electronic, so the transfer case couplers as the sensors detect the rear wheels spinning. so in your case 1 front wheel should have been slightly spinning, as 1 rear wheel is smoking. |

Thanks for the info. Since I have to return the Denali to the dealer for a seat belt retractor replacement (on back order), I'll relay your reply. Let's see how glazed his eyes become.

I've been through 3 seat belt retractors !
they have to open up the seat, and seat it out to an upholsrty shop. |

Re: All Wheel Drive Denali
Yah, I might be in for major seat distruction, but the wife can't stand being clamped in without ability to move at all.
