92 Blazer won't cold start

My neighbor has a 92 blazer, 4.3L engine that she uses just for plowing her driveway. She was unable to start it. It started right up after I put a little gas down the throttle body and it runs really well....smooth. I can restart it again with no problem but if it sits overnight, the only way to get it started is by pouring a little gas down the throttle body again.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had checked through the forum before I posted my question and saw all the comments referring to fuel pressure. Bear with me here though because although I do "work" on cars, I by no means consider myself a mechanic. A little shot of gas down the throttle body lets the truck start right up and run fine, I mean real smooth running and lots of power....at least in my humble opinion. Would this still be a fuel pressure problem. I had a Grand Am once that had a throttle body and had a cold start valve that put one shot of gas in to get the car running. Does this Blazer have the same thing?

Again, thanks for any help.....

Tuneup and maybe a fuel filter.

Fuel pressure test is needed. That and I think the battery is shot and is not supplying enough jiuce to allow the fuel pump to run at full fuel pressure.

Check the battery voltage with the truck is off over night.
