1990 golf heater problem

Heater only works when car is going over 70mph for some time - driving around London this is doesn't happen too often!

maybe your heater core is blocked or perhaps your antifreeze was not mixed properly. you can drive in a lower gear to warm up if you would like or your thermostat is stuck open which you could quick fix by puttin cardboard infront of 3/4 of the rad
