Unhappy code

my battery died on my 1995 325i the other day and when i turned on the radio the screen said "code"

how am i supposed to know what code to put in and how do i do this?

the code is a 5 number set that is one the owners manual that should have come with your bimmer. if you do not have this, you may be out of luck.

you put the number in with the station preset buttons.

you maybe able to get the code from a BMW dealer, if it is the radio that came with the car, you might get a way with just the vin. # off the car.. if it isn't, you will have to pull the radio out and get the ser# off the radio... The car has to be running and you have to hit the right #'s, if you don't you will have to keep the key on for 1 hour before you could try again..
