where, short of going to a junk yard and hoping to find one could i purchase a owners manual for my car? any online places sell these?

I recently purchased a 97 540i and contacted BMW North America. Explained the situation, gushed about being a proud first time BMW owner and they responded saying an owners manual would be shipped out (4-6 weeks for delivery). I have not received it yet, but I'm waiting.

Another possibility...www.autobooksbishko.com. I purchased a complete manual (leather case and all) $60.

Just wanted you to know that BMW NA just came through. The owners manual for the 97 528 and 540 just arrived by mail.
