titanium valves
Has anyone had any experience with titanium valves? good or bad experiences? wantin to free up h/p... wondering how much it helps, heard good things so far. (for naturally aspirated).

i dont think the valves will free up much hps in my opinion.
they are a great point to strenghten your motor but its not like adding high dome pistons. imo a valve is a valve (to a point)

same here.. getting some titanium valvesprings/retainers is insurance in the higher rev range with a more agressive cam grind, or large boost applications where you could come into valveslap.. (camshaft is rotating so fast that the stock springrates int eh stock valvetrain cannot return the lifters to the camshaft lobe to follow the grind of the cam.. tha thte lifter literally slaps itself into the mid-top of the lobe on the next rotation.. retainers insure that the valves will not fall into the engine, and you can run stiffer springs in the valvetrain.
