I believe the 93.5 have dual airbags and colored trim.

Well, there technically is more to it than that... I have a 1993 and it has automatic seatbelts and I'm not positive, but I think that the 93.5 has tweeters in the A-pillars??? It also has a slightly different front grille to accomodate the airbag sensors.

the biggest difference between the two is that the '93 has the high port motor, and the '93.5 has the low port.

Well, kinda. The P10 only went through purely cosmetic changes(and a change to the intake cam)through 91-96 so the high port "t" was pretty much the same car that was available from 91-93.5.
I was doing some research on what exactly changed on the P10 throughout the years and here's a thread that might be of interest.

94 the port went to the low port. My '93.5 has the hight

The best way to tell is the driver door jam has the DATE OF BIRTH sticker. and if it says anything prior to 6/93 its a 93 but if its 6-12/93.5

Pre 93.5 didn't have airbags. So i couldn't have a problem with the air bag sensors.

Nopers. Not in my understanding. As I learned it, the 1993.5 only exists because airbags first entered the market in the middle of 1993, so new half-year models were made to accomodate this new technology. So for all practical purposes, airbags didn't even exist to be an option until after 1993.5!!!
