Friend of mine swears by the AEM pulleys, he has tried both and found that the Unorthodox didn't perform as well on the dyno. For exact numbers I will have to ask him.

Re: AEM Pulleys v. Unorthodox Pulleys

I have some pulleys on my 95 accord lx and I noticed a quicker trottle response and that are also alot lighter that the stock pulleys. As for the unorthadox pulley, I dont know. AEM always seem to have good stuff.

I've placed an order on the Unorthodox SS Pulley Kit. It isn't cheap, because Unorthodox Manufacturers know that their stuffs are the bombs, I will order the cam gear from Unorthodox soon, thank you guys.

AEM Tru-Power Pulley Kit: PowerSteering Pulley and Underdrive Pulley

Unorthodox Racing Pulley Kit: PowerSteering Pulley, Alternator & A/C Pulley, and Crank Pulley.

I'll have them (Unorthodox Ultra SS Pulley Kit) installed by tomorrow's morning and run some personal errands.

Re: AEM Pulleys v. Unorthodox Pulleys

The AEM pulleys are real nice quality, as are the UR. Either one in my mind are just as good, just whatever you can get a better deal on.

AEM does not make a crank pulley, as they claim (as do others) that the harmonic balancer on the stock pulley should be retained for longer engine life. That, I will leave up to someone else to argue. In my eyes, it's not wise to use an aftermarket crank pulley, without balancing the crank first (Even though it's "factory balanced").
