Post Could someone please.....

Write me their opinions on autocross, or give me a synopsis of their view on autocrossers and racers. I'm doing a school research project on weekend racing. and i need some different sources that i can use and put on a bibliography. Also any links to sites that would contain an editorial on autcrossing, speedtrials, or any racing done by people who race for the fun of it and not for a living.

What do you want to know, exactly? I autocross, and its really a great deal of fun. It's a good way to learn car control and improve your driving technique, and get into some automotive competition without taking part in illegal street racing (which isn't as much fun, anyway).

Do you have questions about anything in particular?

The full scoop on solo racing can be found at the SCCA's website, http://www.scca.org. There's a fair amount of newbie information at http://www.autocross.com. Good forums for questions are at http://www.sccaforums.com, and in the message board section of http://www.grmotorsports.com.
