Vector M12 Smog test
I am trying to smog test my car, and no one is able to do it. I am told that the OBD system is not connecting to the tester. How can I get this car smog tested. I went to DMV and they say it is capable of being tested by the OBD, and their tester wont work.

Isn't the M12 using a Lamborghini V12? Shouldn't it be able to be connected like any ol' Diablo? No I'm not a mechanic just a thought! Anyway since you're a Vector owner I'd like to hear any impressions you might like to share with us! Like how did you come about getting one etc...

Re: Vector M12 Smog test
the computers are 95's (or 94's i forgot) in the vector. 96 was when the OBDII became a standard. sombody totaly paid off someone to let this get past DOT your chose may be to declare the car as a kit car, thats what im thinking about doing in may when my tags come up for renew.

Re: Vector M12 Smog test
The M12 was OBD1/OBD I. It's smog can only be tested the old fashioned way, not by hooking it up to an autoscanner.
