What type of car

I have been wanting to buy a 4th gen prelude but the fact is there arent any around where i live. So im kinda giving up on that idea. I was wondering what sort of cars for 3000 are good. For street racing i mean. Im talking some pretty good perfomance. Im not even sure if it can be done with 3000 but i thought i would ask. Of course later i could put more into it but for buying the car my limit is 3K. Thanks for you help. Any suggestions please.

Re: What type of car

Street racing? STREET RACING? plz dont go off into a fast adn the furious skyline supra pull up with pink slip kinda guy.(thats lame) If you think you going to be a street racer forget it im only 15 and i dotn wana go out on the road when i get my license and get hit by a dumbass in a civic or anyting like that) NO FLAMING INTENED SORRY. It just gets me mad not to be mean,. Anyways look into man. I mean a civic is not a bad car if u want sumthing cheap and easy as hell to tune. Parts for a civic are endless. Also, if yur just getting into driving like me dont go off yur first night and race the first sunfire or grandam at the red. SORRY NO FLAMMING INTENDED ONCE AGAIN

Re: What type of car

street racing isn't cool and building a car for the purpose of street racing just sounds dumb. Now, if you wanted to build a car for a real track, that makes a little more sense. Remember, a street racing ticket will cost you over $1000, for that you can go to the dragstrip 40 times and get something in the area of 200 timed runs, you'll never get in 200 street races without getting caught.
