97 exp. eddie bauer for sale $5200 OBO

I have a 97 green expedition 121k 4x4 with the 5.4 liter.
The check susp and check engine light came on but the vehicle drove fine until about a month ago the car needed to be warmed up and the alternator is getting killed for some reason. I installed a new one and same result the alternator is not charging the battery.
From what i have read i believe the vehicle has the window leakage problem and water has gotten to the gem but i dont know why the alternator is dying. The vehicle still drives fine but needs to be warmed up and battery always gets drained. Before the problems arised i drove the vehicle out of state on a 16 hour road trip and the car had no problems except for the check eng/suspension light which didn't bother me.
The price is low because i do not want to deal with the vehicle .
