Beeping

Everytime I start my car a beeping sound comes from the glove compartment area and has about four sets of beaps and then stops. It goes off every 30 minutes you are in the car. I have read this might have something to do with your air bag but I am not sure. If anybody is having this problem I would like to know how to fix it.
