Question 99 SL2 Clutch click

Does anyone know why my clutch would click when I shift? Thanks for your help.

countless reasions. when does this happen? only when changing gears or just every time you press the clutch? will it make the nosie with the engine of? all gears or only some? is it while pressing the clutch in or while the clutch is fully pressed? checked the clutch fluid? age of clutch? difference with car hot or cold?

he is not the first to do it, he won't be the last. is not hard to mix up SL and LS. you should have seen the mess before i PM'ed the moderatiors to rearange everthing. SC, SL, and SW were three different forums
