one of the f**kin worse days ever. bad news after bad news...

tired and pissed off. no more health insurance (mom quit her job) = me paying $80 more on top of my $110 on orthodonist bills alone each month (I also have bi-weekly chiropractor bills, optometry bills yearly, and dental), got a D in ENGL302 when I had 3 people edit my semester-long research paper all saying it deserved an A and was good. I'm not getting any paid days off for x-mas or new years like last years b/c they fall on week-ends. My car has a damn flat and I can't drive it, and it delayed my hail damage insurance quote today. and finally, a nice cheap stick-shift 240sx I was going to buy to practice driving a manual, whom the guy said I had first dibs, and who I waited in the cold for a 240sx meet for a guy I didn't even know at the time, is going to sell it to someone else tonight

On top of this all, I am sleep deprived and angrier.

yea thanks to the peopl that read it and liked it. I guess at least I don't have to take ENGL302 again, I thought i was going to have to but I found out I am allowed 4 grades below a C (in Gen Ed courses) and this is my second D and my last gen ed class. So in that respect I can be happy that I just passed. I do have a real job, but yea I'm not living on my own yet so I know what you mean clawhammer. I just want all my health problems to go away. I have no major health problems, just a weird teeth condition that braces will fix, a slouch which is fixed now (through periodic spinal adjustment cracks), I wear contacts, have this weird lump on my arm that a derm says isn't harmful, and I'm flat footed with a big toe bunion. Ironic though, I never get sick (I've gotten sick like 3-4 times in my life, haven't been sick in like 6-7 years).

It was a great paper, she just probably didn't know what the the hell all the technical terms were

the thing is she never had a rubric or syllabus like all of my other professors. She never said how weighted each grade was, or what she was looking for. I think she was just totally biased and didn't like me. At the beginning of the school year she said others have written about cars also and received good grades. She's one of those anal-retentive attitude problem teachers, I must've gotten on her bad side somehow. She still hasn't responded to me on why I got the grade I had and the class as a whole, I went to every class and did every assignment.
