Re: 1995 Blazer with a few problems
Code 1509 is for the IAC valve.
Remove the Idle Air Control valve, clean it with TB cleaner and scrub it lightly with a toothbrush and then reinstall it. Have you done a tuneup lately?

Re: 1995 Blazer with a few problems
The vacuum ball on the drivers side portion of the engine bay near the windshiel is where to start.

Re: 1995 Blazer with a few problems
It could because you have a vacuum leak and the IAC can not compensate for it.
Remove the negative battery cable for ten minutes, start up the vehicle let it warm up and then hold the brake and put it in gear for two minutes and don't let the truck move. This will force the computer to relearn the idle.

Re: 1995 Blazer with a few problems
It sall good, I try to help everyone.
I would seriously consider tuning up the truck. Consider everything was never touched. Plugs Wires (might not have to replace) Cap & Rotor Fuel Filter PCV Valve Air Filter

Re: 1995 Blazer with a few problems
What is a TB cleaner? Where is the IAC located?

Re: 1995 Blazer with a few problems
tb cleaner is THROTTLE BODY CLEANER (SAME AS CARBERATER CLEANER) AND THE ICA IS LOCATED ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE, TO THE RIGHT OF THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
