I have a 1993 Ford Explorer XLT and For some wierd reason when I'm driving on the street or Highway my car will just turn off while I'm driving. And I changed the Fuel Pump..the fuel pressure is just fine..fuel pump relay was replaced as well and so was the filter..But it still turns off on me...Anyone know what the problem can be or has this happend to anyone else besides myself....Please reply if ya can relate or if ya know how to fix the problem.Thanks......Can it be a sensor??

yeah, this happened to me with my '94 explorer. the car would just shut off. yada yada yada, the pcm was short circuiting. powertrain control module. it's in the kick panel on the passenger side under the glove box. you'll need to get a california specific one to replace yours if it's a california car. runs about $250. it took forever to find narrow down this problem. it'll take a couple days to get a new one, and about 35 seconds to replace. hope this works for you.
