1993 Altima winter starting problems

Hello all, I desperatly need your help. It's been now 2 or 3 weeks that I have starting problems. Here it goes. About 3 weeks ago, in the early morning, I tried to start but there was no fire coming from the engine and no sounds of ignitions. The starter was working properly. I've put some kleen flow in the gaz tank thinking that it was the gaz line that were frozen. The next day, nothing was working. So I towed the car to a local garage. But they told me that when they got the car, they had started it with no problem. So a week passed and the car was running well, until a night, at a restaurant, when it was time to leave, the engine was running roughly, at about 1000 rpm slowly reducing to 200rpm and finally stoping. When I was pushing the accelerator the engine was stoping instantly. But the next day I returned in the parking lot and started the car in a 1/4 turn. But since yesterday, now nothing is happening. No fire, nothing. I changed the sparkplugs and the battery and still not starting. The engine turns with the starter but there's no ignition. Anybody know what could be the problem and what I should look to find the problem.

Thanks

Jay

It sounds like your engine isnt getting the air or fuel it needs to fire properly, check the rotar and rotar cap and make sure the connections arnt to worn out. If those appear fine you could have a fuel pressure problem, or possibly clogged fuel injectors. check the current through your injectors and make sure the coils arnt burned out. Good luck, and let me know what you find

i agree, i had sort of the same problem with my 93 altima, except i was able to get it started. my car would turn over and then when i put it into drive it would just completely turn off when it was cold but if i was to rev the engine before i threw it into drive, there would be no problems whatsoever and all would be good, but your problem sounds like a fuel delivery problem. make sure there is no water in your tank, and make sure your injectors arent clogged or anything. when was the last time you got a tuneup? did you do anything to winterize your car and make sure everything was in tip top shape? remember, as good as these cars are, they are old and the winter doesnt help them.
