How to replace woodruff key on crank?

Crvett69 was nice enough to send me a timing gear and new woodruff key so I can get my metro back up and running, and I'm ready to dive back into things. I don't know how to replace the woodruff key itself though. Is there a special tool that you need? If not, how do you get the old one out, and new one in? Thanks in advance....

Is yours stuck??? Wow you did mess it up pretty bad huh. Try butting a chisel or screwdriver up to it, and tapping it with a hammer to break it loose. Heat should help, but not too much. Don't wanna warp the crank or damage the main seal. Also, vise grips might be a good help too. A woodruff key should just fall right out with minimal effort. Shouldn't be stuck.
